We Need it now more than ever.
A few tips for stress relief include:
-Limit the use of electronics. Television and high intensity
video games create anxiety, and charge the body. It takes
hours to relax from the stimulation provided by these
outlets.
-Exercise daily, you will sleep better.
-Give yourself the gift of silence. Protect yourself from the
constant barrage of the media and environmental noise
which can be overwhelming.
-Take long walks with someone you love.
-Learn to meditate. There are many forms of meditation.
Studies show that a regular meditation practice improves
one's physical health and emotional wellbeing. I teach
meditation techniques to help alleviate stress and improve
concentration.
-Spend time with loved ones.
-Create something. Art and the active imagination open up
the mind and create room for new ideas, and solutions to
life's problems.
